When Jane accuses Marcia of having an affair with her husband, and threatens to reveal all, Marcia persuades Walter, her decorator,to impersonate her husband at the confrontation. The hilarity builds as Walter, who takes himself very seriously as a bit-part actor, plays the role of his life, or rather, all the roles of his life, as he rehearses a confused Marcia to play her part. When Jane draws a willing Walter into her sexy plan to exact revenge, their antics escalate to a hilarious and unexpected climax.
